Active Fire has been operating out of Gauteng and to the rest of Southern African region for the past 30 years. We are a sub-contracting company specialising in passive fire protections systems and have been certified to supply and install various local and international products and fire protection systems.

What We Do
Our core business is focused around proper installation of all fire-resistant panel seals, or fire stopping seals as commonly known, to all reticulated services, as well as fire rated joint seals to all gaps throughout large commercial buildings. These are commonly installed within all shopping centres, Data Centres, hospitals and clinics, hotels, office blocks, airport buildings, process and manufacturing plants and warehouses.

We are also certified in the application of sprayed fire-resistant coatings such as Vermiculite and Intumescent systems to structural steel beams and columns. Local and international manufactured intumescent coatings and sprayed Vermiculite cement products are used in these applications and we ensure all projects are electronically measured and tested after completion.
We work closely with all fire engineers such as Chimera, Pretocon, SFT, Trevor Williams, Aurecon, WSP, TDW International only to name a few.

We install fire rated static and automated drop-down curtains to openings and roof voids from 60 – 120 minutes fire rating and we also carry out installations of high impact trafficable steel reinforced floor seals for penetrations up to 15 m².
Safety and fire signs are crucial within a building we will ensure all of your emergency escape signage and fire signage are taken care off as we can assist in the supply and fitment of all signage according to the building standards.
